Équipements Nordiques' adventure started in 1976 when it was founded by Mr. Alain Bouchard, the first of three brothers who now head the company. Equipment rental was the company's (commercial) starting point and still plays an important role in the company's operations. Later, Louis-Marie Bouchard, an experienced mechanic and sales representative for Hewitt, joined the organization to oversee the current expansion which lead Équipements Nordiques to offer waste disposal and snow removal services, sell aggregate and rent containers.
A few years later, the third brother, Régis Bouchard, joined this high-performance team ready to take on new challenges. With solid engineering training, he continues to lend his expertise to the development of the company's civil engineering activities as a general contractor. Reunited, the three men have expanded the company to include some 125 permanent employees who will participate in the major projects marking the North Shore territory. Équipements Nordiques recently obtained its ISO 9001: 2008 certification, ensuring the highest quality of its production processes.
Since 2008, Mr. Régis Bouchard has been the President and sole shareholder of the company. He is surrounded by strategy developers whose important know-how contribute(s) to the achievements begun by a visionary 35 years ago. Team spirit, creativity, respect and diversity constitute Équipements Nordiques' cornerstone, ensuring the company's success and prosperity.
